Problem with saved games - 0x80831002

Hello everyone,

I am currently playing through Skyrim and it seems like every little while I am getting the error codes 0x8031002 where it tells me to clear local saved content which I have no done multiple times in order to fix the issue. BUT, the message keeps coming
up. This is bery frustrating as I am losing lots of gameplay if I dont save every two minutes. How can I fix the issue?

I think so

im not sure im so pissed off i cant concentrate properly.

I gave up now, even after rebooting with the cord out it stops working AGAIN , im so upset

Sorry to hear about the save issue. I know Skyrim is a seemingly endless game and it seems to autosave quite often. We suggest you try a

Factory Reset while keeping your games and apps by doing the following.

Press the Xbox button to open the guide.

Select Settings.

Select All Settings.

Select System.

Select Console info & updates.

Select Reset console.

Hey BiggerGenesis,

The first option I would like you to try is a power cycle.

Hold the Xbox button on the console for about 10 seconds until the console turns off. After the console shuts down, touch the Xbox button on the console again to restart.

The next option would be a
factory reset.

Simply follow these steps:

Press the Xbox button to open the guide.

Select Settings.

Select All Settings.

Select System.

Select Console info & updates.

Select Reset console.

If none of those options work, I would advise you to contact
Xbox Support for further technical assistance.

Thanks everyone for the replies. I have done as suggested and powered cycled the system which did not work and then factory reset while saving games and apps. It ended up losing my skyrim save after the rest even though I clicked to save games and apps.
Havent tried to play the game and see if I am habing the same issue since. Only time will tell.

So I recently tried the suggested solution above and I am still getting "there is a problem with your saved games" error code: 0x80831002.

Everything is up to date.
