    rewards site showing me a free member

    I am a 1 month xbox live gold member, I redeemed the 1 month code just last week, on xbox.com it says I am a gold member but on xbox live rewards site it shows me a free member. My friend referred me to get gold and I did that by redeeming a 1 month code
    with in the time limit but I didn't got anything?

    For these types of errors, you should make sure that your billing information is fully filled out. You can do that both on

    the Xbox One console     or on our commerce.microsoft.com for

    the Billing Info section    .

    If that doesn't work for you to redeem your code, please ensure that your account and console regions are set to your physical location. For a full list of regions that are supported by Xbox Live, please see our
    Xbox Live Countries page.

    If you are still running into errors while trying to redeem your token, and you've done both of the steps above, please

    My problem it was solved last two weeks ago,and the XBOX LIVE works.The only step which i've made it was to change the console region,and now my console is set to United Kingdom.

    Friend with past due Logging into my xbox.

    If you currently have Game Pass Ultimate and attempt to redeem a 12 month Xbox Live Gold code, it will convert to a 3 or 4 month Ultimate subscription. If you want to continue with just Gold for 12 months and not Ultimate, you would have to wait for the
    Ultimate to expire before redeeming the regular Gold code.

    If you don't currently have Ultimate, then you should have no problem redeeming the 12 months of Gold.

    UPDATE: - I just spoke to MS support over chat, they basically cancelled my gold ... then emailed a 1 month xbox live code to me. I thought they were giving me a free month as compensation but it seems theyve kept the money, cancelled the gold and then sent
    me a 1 month code to redeem. So no compensation but that fixed it for me.
