    Problem with Record That/ Save screenshot/Game DVR


    I been having this issue since i first got my Xbox One in November of last year. I don't have a Kinect so I when I do try to record a video or take a picture I do it by double tapping the Xbox Button and pressing X or Y. When I do that nothing happens. No
    error, no message, nothing. When I try to do it by using the Game DVR app, I can "Start new clip" but when I try to "End Clip now" I get this error "(0x8232300b)". I have tried to record in multiple games :Halo MCC, Tintanfall, Sunset Overdrive, Batman with
    no luck in neither one of them.

    I already tried all this steps multiple times:

    Please give the following steps a try:

    • Press and hold the power button on your console for 5 seconds.
    • Once your console is powered off, unplug the power cord.
    • Wait 5 minutes and then plug in your console.
    • Power on your console and press the start button on your controller.
    • Select Settings and then select Preferences.
    • Under System and App, make sure that Allow Play To Streaming and Allow Broadcasts and Game DVR Uploads are checked.
    I have installed all the apps that may have something to do with recording clips "Upload, Game DVR, Upload Studio, Twitch, Youtube, Xbox Video, One Drive".

    My OS Version under my console info is: 6.2.13194.0 (xb_rel_1507.150702-2154) fre

    Not sure if this helps but this is what I was dealing with...

    I figured out a few things.

    Clips I've recorded myself, I can save but ones that save automatically I can't.

    Also, for the ones you can't, I found a work around to get it of the system. Open the YOUTUBE app and sign in to your account, if you don't have one, get one and you can upload it straight to your channel. I did it private, so I could get the clip off and
    edit it. Hope this helps everyone till MS gets there head from their rear. I mean seriously, I have to rely on YOUTUBE? Unacceptable.

    bit late, but thanks so very much @Misses Quinzel, after many hours going through every possible fix I've stumbled over this thread. I also had error 0x8232300b, and can confirm that the 'your TV is too old' diagnosis is correct! nice one!

    My Forza Motorsport 6's screenshots don't save, and when i try to save them by the menù "upload" appear a message that say: "No clips saved. Try again" instead Forza Horizon 2's screenshots are ok! help me please.

    Hey there, zX I ALeX I Xz! Looks like you've done a lot of troubleshooting for this already, so I won't ask you to repeat things.

    The only thing I've been able to find on this is that it could be your
    display settings    . If your settings are set to lower than 720p because your TV can't handle anything higher, I suggest trying out another TV that can handle 720p+ resolutions, adjusting the Xbox One for that TV, and then trying again.

    Let us know if that works for you! We'd like to look into it further if it doesn't. :)
