    Hello sorry if this is in the wrong section I was unsure where to put this... In October my chat headset and have not been able to get it resolved but today I was told to post here by an xbox customer support supervisor that I would like to be removed from
    xbox live preview. I do not have access to the private forums I was supposed to have so I am unable to manually leave. I was just wondering how I should go about getting removed from the preview list. Thank you very much to who ever takes the time to read
    this and I am very sorry again if this is in the wrong section.

    I've been signed up for about 3 weeks and I still have not gotten a service message. I'm able to download preview games but I can't access the Xbox Preview Dashboard.

    Be sure to try the steps Hydro Skillet provided above, and if the issue persists after trying those, be sure to post over in our Preview Program forums to let the proper teams

    Problem with preview

    You'll need to go to the preview dashboard app and you can remove yourself in the registration area. Keep in mind you may not be removed right away. You're usually removed when the current preview rolls out to the public.

    Hi Yoshie,

    The preview support team doesn't appear to be performing manual removals from the preview program since the new dashboard went live.

    Can you please provide me some additional details:

    Do you currently have the dashboard app installed on your Xbox? If yes, are you receiving any errors when attempting to access it? Otherwise, what happens

    If you do not have it installed and you no longer have the original XBL message or it has since expired you will need to request another message to be sent which will allow you to reinstall the preview dashboard app which will allow you to unenroll in the
    preview program.

    You can post a request for another message and download link to be sent by posting in the preview forum @

  7. Hello I currently don't have it installed and never did I also never received a message regarding being a preview member. When I called xbl customer support some reps told me that I was a preview member and some said it was not so I was confused :S When
    I try to follow the link it says the the requested group could not be found. Is there another way I can request another message and download link?

    Problem with preview

    If you do not have the dashboard app nor ever received a Live message saying you were in the program or giving you access to the Dashboard App then odds are you are not in the preview program.

    Phone support cannot tell who is or is not in the program. They probably only saw that you may have been invited at one point.

    If you are having issues with chat please post the exact issue so we can help you out. If you are having issues joining a party try holding the power button on the console for 10 seconds until it shuts down then unplug everything and let it sit for 10 minutes
    before trying again.

  9. The problem I am having is that others are unable to hear me. I have done hours and hours of over the phone trouble shooting as well as purchasing all new hardware and being sent a whole new xbox this also did not solve the problem.

    The xbl phone support supervisor told me this is something he has not seen before and insured me I was apart of the preview program as I emailed him back after I seen your post and he told me I was so I don't know I am confused.

    The supervisor then asked me to post here before they bump my problem up to a tier 3 problem and I guess they said they are very rare. sorry if I am giving a lack of information I am just not to sure of what the problem is I have exhausted everything myself
    and the tier 1 and 2 xbox support team can think of.

    I know it sounds like a simple solution and you may already have checked but can you make sure your mute button is not activated on the chat adapter?

    Also, have you ever had a communications suspension?

    If neither of those apply to you then you may need to have the issue escalated.

  11. Yup iv checked the mute button Problem with preview :) and no in 10 years I have not ever had one suspension I will call back the support team and tell them what I have been told on here. Thank you all very much for taking time out of your day to help me out! Problem with preview :)

    Yup iv checked the mute button :) and no in 10 years I have not ever had one suspension I will call back the support team and tell them what I have been told on here. Thank you all very much for taking time out of your day to help me out! :)
