Problem with prepaid card

Before I start I would like to apologize for my bad English I write the best I can

Hi everybody, i hope that you can help me. Well, my problem start when i buy a prepaid card on a 7 eleven store, all ok but when try to exchange the code in the xbox or through the web page I throw an error that says the code is not yet active, when i go
back to the store with the respective purchase ticket they tell me that the card is activated and if Does not work I get in touch with Xbox directly, 5 days have passed since I bought it even i try to get in touch with one of their employees through the chat
but they never answer me, what i could do guys?

Gold subscription does not except prepaid cards.edit

Not sure how in 2016, you don't use debit or credit cards but that's just me.

Anyway, could someone else confirm if using prepaid VISAs work or not? You could always go to gamestop or bestbuy, use your prepaid VISA card on a subscription xbox live card. That should work. Perhaps order a digital code on amazon with your prepaid VISA. I'm pretty sure they accept it.Click to expand...

Doesn't trust banks or credit card companies. Tries to use their pre-paid cards.

I fear for this person's future when they try to buy a house with no credit. Maybe they are rich and will just buy it out right with their mattress money.

As for a solution to your problem, use your prepaid card from a company you don't trust to buy a 12-month or 3-month Xbox Live Gold card from the store.

problem with prepaid card

i put in a prepaid card number, but it didn't work and when i checked on the issue on my system it said error 8C21003; what do i do?

Sorry to hear the code isn't working for you, if the card is claiming that it isn't active then I am afraid we are unable to activate it here. Have you tried redeeming the code on Xbox.com instead of through your console? If you're getting the same error message
there, you'll need to reach back out to the store you purchased from for an exchange.

The problem is most likely with the prepaid Visa. Xbox typically does not accept prepaid cards becuase the billing information for the card does not match that of the profile. Sorry.

If this is the case by a subscription card from Walmart or the xbox site. If you are buying a specific item it should allow you to use a prepaid card. The problem with subscriptions is that people would get the prepaid cards and then not add money to
them again. So they cannot be charged until funds are added, many subscription services do not allow prepaid cards because of this issue.
