Problem with playing Xbox One offline

I live in the country where has poor internet connection. The internet speed is not good enough to let me play games online all the times! I will explain my problem playing offline here:

First, when I turn on my console, I am not able to start the game that I have already installed to my system. The system requires me to sign in.
So by clicking "Sign in" on the top left, I can only see my existing Xbox Live account, Add new and Close tabs! The only way to sign in is to choose that Xbox Live account, which requires my console to be hooked up with the
internet to proceed! However, there are some people who told me that "you can still play Xbox One games offline, you just have to update your system being connected to the internet the first time you use! However, I already update my system the first time
I turned it on. So updating is not an issue, though it took me hours to complete it due to the poor internet speed!!!

Now, I just want to enjoy my games offline, but it always asks me to sign in. How can I do? Without internet, I am not able to play!

if anyone knows how to get this solved, please help me!

Xbox occasionally won't play games offline.

Using Xbox One Offline If it doesn't help out, can you please give us an idea of which games you're unable to use offline? Are these Disc versions or Digitally downloaded versions.

Had a look on the back of my copy of Battleborn & it does say in big red words that it is online only so I would think that's the same on other online only games.

 

You can play games offline, but in order to play a game (online or offline) you have to be able to sign into your profile. If you know you're going to spend the majority of your time offline, you need to get connected to the internet, sign in, and then
save your password info and set the system to just sign you in automatically when you turn the system on. This will make it so the system doesn't require you to be online to verify your password. You can just turn it on and start playing.

I remember that when playing Xbox 360, I must sign in first before I start my games! However, I could create an account which does not require internet and allows me to sign in offline, which only exist in the console I am using. But with Xbox One, I don't
know how to create that kind of profile that allows me to sign in without internet. I want to create an account that is not an online account, like Xbox Live account I am using on this forum, and allows me to sign in anytime I turn on the console offline!

And from what I read of your reply, I think you mean that I must first sign in my Xbox One online with my existing Xbox Live account before trying to play any game, and have the system to remember my account and passwords so that
next time when I turn on the console, I can just start playing games once I turn on my console offline. Is that correct? If that is, can you teach me how to do it so that my console remembers my account/passwords and I can sign in offline?

My Xbox Live account is already there when I clicked on "Sign in," the screen shows "Who are you." And there are only three tabs like I mentioned in my post. I chose my Xbox Live account, the only option I could choose, and the screen shows:

Connect to Xbox Live

"When this Xbox isn't connected, we can't sign you in. This can happen if you don't save your password. Check your network connection, then sign in."

So I guess I should have saved my password the first time I set up my console and my account onto it. How shall I do in order to have it save my password? Do I need to re-boot the whole system in which I have to run that whole updating thing like the first
time I turned it on?

I just ask my friend, who does not know much about Xbox but somehow knows how to solve the issue, and after he read your reply. He helped me delete my account and re-sign in. All he did was deleteing my account which did not have password saved in, and re-signing
my Xbox Live account with password saved this time. I restart my Xbox One, and I can sign in offline. I guess that's what you also mean to solve this issue, right? Or did I miss anything! I am sorry for such inconvenience caused because I ama casual gamer,
I don't know much about gaming system, I just play them for fun only! Should I have other problem relating this issue I will ask you again, is that ok?

What you need to do is connect to the internet, get signed into our account and then go to your Settings menu. Once there, go to Sign In, Security and Passkey and then select the sign in option, Make it fast, Make it magic. This will save your password
to the console and also have it recognize you with the Kinect.

After that, you want to go back to your Settings menu and go to Preferences. In preferences there is an option that says Instant Sign In. You want to select this option and then make sure you select your profile. This will set up the system to just sign
you in automatically every time you turn the system on.

I was having the same issue but, for the record, I'm not using the Kinect. You can't select Make it fast, Make it magic without the Kinect. However the next option along, which I think is called "No Barriers", does exactly the same thing.

I went online, logged in to profile and then followed all instructions as above (i.e. instant sign up)... Then I went back to settings and told console to go offline. Sorted. I even unplugged my console from power to see if it saved my profile, which it
did...

I know this online/offline thing is an issue... I work on ships and NEED my Xbox One offline 24/7... Now I know it's possible. Just not sure if I can buy a new game and install from new without being online. Hoping so.

Im going to try this tonight as I have exactly the same problem. Been battling for 3 days now. My nearest decent internet connection is 25km away. Ill use my cellular as a hotspot to initially log in.

 

I purchased this $350 Xbox bundle about a week ago and waited Christmas morning to play. I purchased Destiny which is online only so I'll let that pass. Dead Rising 3 however I downloaded to my xbox 20GB later, along with the season pass. None of which I
can play... inside I want to lose it but its just a game right!!! I cannot comprehend why I cant play a game I purchased that doesn't require online services?! This is the main reason I didnt want to buy Destiny because of this requirement. Obviously many
people are without and I dont see why this is lacking response or recognition. I'm beginning to regret this purchase more than my birth father leaving me as a child. Microsoft you should be ashamed of yourselves for whatever plot you had planned for this online
monopoly. I'm an introvert without many friends, hobbies and gaming is my life. You have taken the one simple liberty I have other than breathing air. I wish I could share my pain with you but I't doesnt matter now you have my hard earned monies.
