Problem with playing game because privacay & online safety setting error.

We are 4 people on family account for Microsoft & Xbox. One was child account. Child tried to play fortnite but got this error: You are unable to see content other people make because of how your account is set up. This can be changed in you privacy &
online safety setting.

I tried everything. Removed child accout from family. Changed birthday, create adult Microft account.

I subscribed to xbox gold with my own adult account, loaded fortnite and now child can play. But I don't want child to keep using my account. I want him to use his own account that is now setup as adult account. I tried to search for help for almost 3
months already and don't know what to do. Anyone have any idea what I can do? I still get same error as mentioned above. I'm at a point where I just want to get rid of xbox

If you're receiving an error restricting you from access to areas - or the entirety - of your games due to any sort of "Underage Error," this is caused by a problem with the Date of Birth on your Xbox LIVE account, which was entered during registration.

Try going here on your PC, while logged into the Adult Account :
https://account.microsoft.com/family/?fref=home.card.family

On this screen you should see the Child account listed. Under that account is the option for "Content Restrictions". Click on that.

Make sure that Block Age limit games, media, and apps is set to OFF

From there you can adjust the privacy settings for each family member.

From that screen select he child account, and then click on "XboxOne / Windows 10 Online Safety" and under "Join Multiplayer Games", insure that ALLOW is selected.

That should allow the child account to play Fortnite without issue. It will also let you block or allow all kinds of online features for that account.

accidently changed my settings and now can't play fortnite. I went back to change them to their previous settings and the security settings page is not loading.
