problem with payment after adding €15 gift card

It's actually working correctly. It's not possible to purchase subscriptions using currency on your account.

Thank you so much! Removing the payment method and adding a new one solved the problem. We were able to add the gift card code also.

After you add the gift card to your account it's added as your Microsoft account balance. Choose that payment option when making your purchase from design lab.

Payment method doesn't matter. You can use credit card, Paypal, or currency from gift cards. You won't get credit for adding a gift card to your account.

When it says you’re going to be charged the full amount, does it indicate that your gift card balance will still be affected as well? Did you refresh the page after adding both payment methods to split the purchase?

If the store page still doesn’t automatically update to reflect the correct amount, then you would need to contact support so they can take a closer look for you. Select live chat or request a call back to speak with someone directly.

Alternatively, as a workaround to this error, purchase another gift card to add to your £15 balance (another £35 would be the minimum to match the cost). This way you can purchase the game with one payment method and there shouldn’t be any complications. Just be sure to change the option from your bank card to the gift card when you reach the payment portal.
