PROBLEM WITH PATCH OF XBOX ONE X

I bought quantum break 2 years ago for my xbox one. 2 days ago i downloaded the full game and necessary X Enhanced patch ( i bought my xbox one X) and have experienced stuttering and freezing issues from the get go. It randomly crashing for the first time
just now is what lead me to seeking out these forums. I expect some glitches with these enhanced updates, but I can't even enjoy the game at this point.

I could blame it on my new One X but GoW 3, 4 and Halo 5 all work perfectly with their X patches.

Please fix these issues soon XBOX! It could be such a great game!

Are updates mandatory for Xbox One X?

I think if your this concerned about requiring an internet connection the Xbox One X may not be the console for you.

People are right that most (not all) games will work with no internet connection, however so many games these days require a "day 1" patch that fix so many things you may as well say that these patches are mandatory.

Also there are so many games that have patches so they make full use of the Xbox One X (Fallout 4 for example) that again, you may as well call them mandatory for the Xbox One X.

As for buying "the other one" it will be a similar situation on the PS4 Pro, both consoles have games that require patches to make full use of the respective hardware or "day 1" patches that although aren't "mandatory" fix so many
bugs that they may as well be called mandatory.

At the end of the day, if you don't have an permanent internet connection, buying either an Xbox One or a PS4 (be them X or Pro) wont be the best option for you, perhaps you may want to look at the Nintendo Switch. What patches they do need are usually
much smaller and Nintendo games usually arrive in a much better state with very few of them requiring a "day 1" patch.

I too am having issues that makes the game unplayable on Xbox one X. This 4k upgrade has ruined the game and it needs fixing asap, especially since this game is one MS has used to promote the 4k aspects of the new system.

Yeah I've done all that, accept the fact that your game is broken and our hardware is working as intended.
