    Problem with my storage


    I’m having a problem with my storage, whenever I would play games, my Xbox would say there is not enough storage to save, even though I had about 25% of free storage on the internal drive. I then went out and bought a 4tb externals
    drive from Seagate, to see if it would fix it or not. After formatting it, and doing everything I need to do, it still gave me the problem. Does anyone know what’s wrong with my Xbox???

    I know, but when i tried to delete my profile, it wasnt found in my storage.

    I removed the hard drive and reinserted it but there are still "no items found".

    Its like the xbox recignizes that there is a hard drive but it does not recognize its xboxcontent on it.

    The error code you listed suggests a problem with your profile. Try the steps listed at the link to see if that helps.

    support.xbox.com/.../error-code-8007045D

    It couldn't hurt to remove the hard drive from the console and reinstert it to ensure it's sitting firmly as well.

    Just in case, try putting your hard drive in a friend's console to see if you can see your files. I doubt this will work but it's worth a shot.

    You should always keep your saves backed up in your cloud drive to avoid losing your saves in this way. You can do this by copying (not moving) them to your cloud drive. When you copy them to the cloud they will be kept in-sync with your local files. Then you
    can use either your local saves or cloud saves and they will always be synced with one and other. This is also helpful if you want to access them on another console.

    That would be why you're having the profile issue with the console then. Your only option here would be to try and format the hard drive itself (sorry, you'll end up losing your save games).

    If that doesn't work for you then you'll need to purchase a new hard drive.

    It sounds like your hard drive has become corrupted. This most likely means that your hard drive is failing.

    You're getting the error code because your Xbox is unable to save your profile to the hard drive. Try reformatting your hard drive. If it works after reformatting don't store your saves on it or copy them to your cloud drive just in case. If it still doesn't
    work then replace your hard drive. You probably want to consider replacing your hard drive either way.
