    Problem with my prepaid 3 month membership


    So today i bought a prepaid membership to access xbox live once again (3 month) but when i redeemed the code on the xbox.com and pressed confirm after recognizing it is a 3 month membership it said that a problem apeared. try again later and if the problem
    wont be solved let us now by putting the code (which code?) at xbox.com/errorhelp ... after trying many times later i tried redeeming it on xbox ... once i put the code it starts loading and after a short time is says is invalid ...

    what should i do ? can anyone help ?

    Can you try redeeming it with the console, see if that makes any difference? Otherwise, it would be better to post your question in this forum. Purchasing, Downloading & Redeeming on Xbox 360

    There are a couple of regions that are experiencing this. Please check out your local
    Service Alert page and see if you're in one of those regions. If not, jemarari is accurate and you should post in the other forums.

    Please log in at commerce.microsoft.com and check your recent transactions. If the 3 month gold membership is listed then it went through and there is just a waiting period before it populates your account.

    If it is not there then there are 3 possibilities.

    1. You've entered the code incorrectly (sometimes 0 can be mistaken for O or 8 mistaken for B)

    2. The code was not activated at the time of purchase. You'll need to take it back to the store to have them activate it.

    3. The code was purchased for a region other than your gamertag is set for. Gold codes are region locked and cannot be used outside of the country for which they were intended.
