Problem with my controls

If I put my control literally on top of the Xbox, it works, however, if I start to distance it, about 2 spans, it starts to stop working.

I yesterday bought a new control and 4 Duracell batteries, thinking it might be a control problem or batteries, but I saw that it was not. And neither is the update.

This morning I formatted the Xbox to factory mode thinking it was an update with a bug, but the problem persists.

Can you help me?

Controller Problems

Normally I'd go to google, but having a hard time as the word Battery and Draining, just comes up with troll forums about how much bullshit it is to have batteries instead of a charge pack blah blah.

Here's the issue. My controlller (day 1) with brand new batteries is showing 3/4 full, then 5 minutes later it gives me the low battery warning, then it disconnects at random.

I had thought it was a short. I went to town on the thing (immature I know) while doing Bottles last puzzle in Banjo...fucking thing is not made for the XB controller...

Troubleshooting I put the batteries into my 2nd controller that I never use and sure as shit, same thing.

Anyone else having these disconnects or battery issues?

Have you added anything into the area that could cause some interference with the controller?

 

No, I did not add anything that could cause interference. I even tried to put him in a room without nenum electronic equipment and persists. It does not work from afar.

Thanks for your post. Have you attempted to connect the controller to the Xbox One using an Micro-USB cable? Try connecting it for a few minutes and then disconnect the cable, if it disconnects, do try another brand of batteries. Also, have you attempted
to use another controller? If another controller works fine with the console, it could be an issue with the controller itself. For options with replacement and service orders visit

Thanks for the message, yes, I tried everything you said, but its dont work.

As my old control was not working, I just bought a new control that came with the original battery but how I said in the post, them controls only works if literally be on top of xbox in a very short distance. If be afar, dont work more. (1 meters)

Thank you for reaching out. I see you have done most troubleshooting including a factory reset. Since you were also able to test a new controller, it's starting to look like the console itself is the problem. The

Device Support site will have you login and register your console. Afterwards, you will be given options to setup a repair for it. If you are having a hard time setting this up, or would like to see if there are additional options, please head over to
Xbox Support and setup a call by doing the following:

1. Xbox One

2. No thanks

3. Set up my Xbox One console

4. Show Contact options

5. Request a call from support
