Problem with my 360 console service

forgive me if i'm posting on the wrong site.

Very sad with MS tech support.

Less than 6 month ago i had just got my 360core console replace with charge. now not even 6 month the console fail on me again.

called up the tech support only to tell me i have to paid again for the service. my very last console serve me since 2008 without any problem, till i got the 3 red ring issue,

less than 6 month ago i paid for a replacement and lasted me less than 6 month and was told by the tech support to pay again.

So do i pay again for another replacement console which may not last me 6 month?

what option do i have from the xbox team?

I would recommend not turning off 2FA, as that is always a good security measure. I'd have to say following through for the App Password, and following

the steps here to generate itthe steps here to generate it are the best route, and can be re-done if they don't work the first time. Since you're generating
the app password, you remember your account information, to get into the system, so I'd say try the App Password route a few more times, which should work. I remember when I did it after turning on 2FA, there was a step I missed that I had to do a couple
of times before I realized I was doing something wrong.

 

Problem with service

I cant get into my xbox360 gold account. It says the email and password doesnt work so i logged into create a app password amd it say there is a temporary problem with the service. I tried turning 2 step verification off too and it says the same thing.
On the xbox it gives me code 8015D002. This is really pissing me off because its done this for three days.

 

When a repair is done on a console out of warranty they only give a 3 month warranty as replacement. A repair never guarantees it will work problem free for years to come although it would be nice if it did.

The final decision will always remain with you. However, I would like you to consider a couple of alternatives.

1. Purchase a new 360 console (if you live in the States there aught to be lots of deals coming up).

2. Purchase an Xbox One console

 

i do understand your reply but it's just that paying 100's of dollar for a refurbish unit (was happy when i got it cos it look very new to me) and still got the 3 red ring of death in less than 6 mth..... and its supose to be MS problem with the hardware
when the problem use to be a big issue..... ready to give up .... sad....sad...

 

I live with the Armed forces in Germany and I tried to buy Halo: Reach through Xbox live but it gave me Error Code 80150017. When I looked it up on the site it was talking about videos. Can I have help please
