Problem with Microsoft Support for Refunds

I was trying to refund a game because I had gotten the wrong game to play with my friends and I had sent in a refund request after purchasing the game Grounded - Game Preview on 2/11/21 and sent in the request yesterday. After a couple of hours, I got a response from the Microsoft support team that the refund had been declined because it had been over the date for the refund because of their policy, I got in contact with a Microsoft support agent because they block any further requests once denied. That agent said that the date for a refund for digital is up to fourteen days but when i sent the request in it was only 7 days. I replied to the email that said I had been declined the refund last night. I am hoping for a reply soon but am not certain they will, so I came here looking for help and for anyone that is working at Microsoft to see this and help. This has never been a problem to me but I don't want to wait until after the fourteen days go past on the 25th of Feb and be declined help because that time has past. I don't know if the service request number is sensitive or not so i wont post it but if anyone from microsoft sees this and needs it i have it.

No one here could do anything about it since this is a community based forum. You'll have to wait for a response to the email you sent to the refund specialists as they are the only ones who handle refunds.

Maybe. I had this problem with GTAIV:TBOGT. Please call Xbox support. They will give yu a refund in Microsoft points, then just buy it "Disk Form".

Unfortunately even if Microsoft support through the refund form or any official Microsoft support agent can help you regarding this very serious problem, much less can we help you, since this is a forum of and for the gaming community where we support each other with a certain limited amount of problems, unfortunately this type of problem is out of our hands, the only thing I can tell you is to keep trying to contact support and explain your situation until they validate the refund through the form, sorry not to be of more help but remember that we are not direct employees of Microsoft and we can not help more than there with this type of problem.
