Problem With Microsoft Mahjong Daily Challenge

Seems like they have resolved the issue. I went back and solved both my unsolved puzzles

 

It's not fixed Helen. Not until it's fixed for everybody. Where is the fix for Windows 8? Is Windows 8 now in legacy mode?

 

The update fixed the problem for me. I have Window 8, Version 6.3 Build 9600 and running Windows 8 on a Dell XPS desktop.

 

Unfortunately the same problem still exists in Singapore, the bug is still not fixed. I'm running latest version of Windows 8.1

 

Still says no updates available on a manual update attempt here on Windows 8 (version 6.2 build 9200) in the windows store. Tried clearing the cache, still nothing.

 

@ VersedSquirrel3: You've got Windows 8.1, Windows 8.0 is version 6.2 Build 9200.

 

Yes I know I have Windows 8.1. Was in a hurry to post and forgot to add the .1

As I stated in another thread, I was helping people with the Mahjong update all day yesterday via Facebook. You can ask around- I even stayed late at work yesterday to help a player over Facebook chat. I wasn't aware there was a specific issue with Windows
8 until I walked in the door this morning. I am on my way now to talk to the producers to see what happened.

Like the others, I am still unable to get the Challenges to load since Feb 3.

I have Windows 8, version 6.2 build 9200.

I tried the suggested fixes to no avail… went to the Windows Store, checked for updates, restarted and cleared the Windows Store cache. In fact, I tried all steps more than once and rebooted each time in the hopes that things might reset.

If it’s helpful, I get automatically logged in to the XBox account and can select the Challenges on any day, but when I click to play, the tile continually spins.

 

Yo desde Panamá y tengo el mismo problema del 3 al 9 de febrero, luego se solucionó del 10 al 14 de febrero y hoy de nuevo el mismo problema. De los tres desafios diarios solo se puede jugar uno o dos y el otro se queda colgado.

a. 3 Feb – Tile 1 – Easy – Classic

b. 4 Feb – Tile 1 – Medium – Lightning Tiles

c. 6 Feb – Tile 1 – Easy – Golden Tiles

d. 7 Feb – Tile 3 – Hard - Classic

e. 8 Feb – Tile 1 – Easy – Golden Tiles

f. 9 Feb – Tile 3 – Medium – Classic

g. 15 Feb – Tile 2 – Easy – Match Attack

h. 15 Feb – Tile 3 – Easy – Classic

2. Uninstalled and reinstalled Mahjong app; problem not resolved.

3. Signed out of Xbox Live and signed in again; no success.

4. Cleared Windows Store cache; restarted computer and performed check for updates; no updates available. Tried before and after reinstalling app.

5. Windows firewall shows public access for Microsoft Mahjong.

6. McAfee Internet Security installed; renewal originally set for 18 Feb 14; renewed on 6 Feb 14; did not resolve issue.

7. Used task manager to check performance; shows ~2% CPU and ~260 Mb Memory before application suspends.

8. Event manager shows no errors.

9. Running Windows 8 (64-bit) Version 6.2 Build 9200; all updates current as of `5 Feb 14.

10. Using Vizio CT15-A2 laptop.

11. No issues with other games.

12. Was unable to access Xbox Live account on 15 Feb. Restarting computer resolved the issue.
