Problem with Microsoft account and DLC

I had to format the hard drive and delete my old profile, but I forgot to save one DLC (the infamous Catwoman/Robin codes from Arkham City). So, now with the new account/gamertag, I tried to login with the old one to redownload and I couldn't get in.

I tried every password I could remember, recovering with the alternative email method (three times, but I don't have much info to recover, because that email's only purpose was just to be a Live account), and the phone code didn't help too. I delete the
cache as well, just to be sure.

I'm really desperate. It's a 2008 account, still with the hotmail domain. I think it's in a limbo. I don't even care about the gamertag or the achievements, I just want to download the DLC again (I hope) and avoid the frustration to buy something that I
already have.

The gamertag is
Vallveniz and the email associated is *** Die E-Mail-Adresse wurde aus Datenschutzgründen entfernt. ***.

Problem with Microsoft Account

Hey mate, I wouldn't close the old account just in case everything hasn't gone right and you actually haven't associated the new email address and you lose access to the account altogether.

What made you believe it was successful? Do you have a confirmation email to the new email address at all? Also can you sign it to the website etc. with the new email address and password?

Did you also re-download your account on the console once making the changes? This could sync up the changes:

support.xbox.com/.../profile-move-delete

If there is truly two email accounts on the one gamertag (which is meant to be impossible), you should definitely contact Xbox phone support to have them investigate:

Problem with Microsoft Account

Recently I changed my Microsoft Account that was linked with my gamertag because the old one had an outdated email address. I simply just made a new Account with my new email and then followed these steps.

Everything went good and I did it successfully, but it caused some problems. My new account is linked with my gamertag fine, but it hasn't unlinked with my old one. I am still able to sign into xbox.com with my old email and password and it is still linked
with my gamertag. It also has caused a problem when I click on my account with both. I get an error saying "Uh oh... that shouldn't have happened. It appears you've found a glitch in the system." Lastly when I am signed in on my xbox 360
it still displays my old email address in the top right corner on the dashboard. Anyone have any ideas? I am thinking I should just close my old account, but I don't want that to cause more problems.

Apologies, but you can not transfer content from one Xbox Live account to another. Content licenses are stored in the Xbox 360 console rather than in the Xbox Live account. To let someone else use the content license, you must download your Xbox Live profile
to their Xbox 360 console. Then, transfer your content licenses to that Xbox 360 console.

After you transfer your content, other profiles can use the content on that console.

Yes, that's the problem: I can't download my old profile because I can't reset the password. I don't even know if that email is still "alive".

 

I think my account is locked. I tried to download the profile in the console with every password imaginable and this message appears: "Sorry, something's wrong with your Microsoft account. Go to
https://account.live.com for help".

Then I enter the site and try there too, and appears: "You've tried to sign in too many times with an incorrect account or password".
