Problem with membership

Hi , i'm french and i hope you'll understand the meaning of this ticket.

I stopped using my Xbox 360 3 or 4 ago but i forgot to stop the automatic renewal for my membership. I realised it few months after i stopped playing when my father's credit card expired and i started recieving e-mails about it so i contacted your support
and the guy i speaked with explained me how to proceed to update my payment method. After i updated it, i asked him if it was possible for him to stop the automatic renewal cause for a reason or another i couldn't do it by myself and he told me it was possible.
After some minutes, he said it was kay and that he stoped it. BUT NOW , i just received an E-Mail telling me that my payment method expired, that i have to change it AND that i have to pay 13€ for a service i stopped using for some years and i wasn't supposed
to pay for. And i wont even talk about about the money that was paid since this my membership was supposed to be stopped.

I'm sending you this ticket cause after i checked how i could stop the automatic renewal i saw that i can't stop it before i paid what i presumably owe to Microsoft; what i obviously refuse to do after what happenned the last time.

I refuse to pay this ammount until i have a proof that the Automatic renewal has been definitely stopped. I'm not really in need of help , i'm just asking for some honnesty from a support that is supposed to help people and not lie to them.

Problem with membership

So, when i log onto xbox live via my xbox 360, it says i am a free member But, when logged into the xbox.live website it says i am a gold member I usually automatically get subscription every month with a credit card on my account, but it says i have stopped
getting that subscription and whenever i try to buy membership on my xbox it cannot access the marketplace, or it cannot do that service right now Anyone help me ?


Edit: I am able to connect to xbox live, its just that it wont show my gold membership.It has been like this for a few days

If what BlueNose said doesn't resolve the issue, delete the profile(profile-only) from the hard drive and re-download it.
