problem with Mass Effect 3 disks

Hello, I can not install Mass Effect 3 with games discs while it has been reported as backward compatible. How to solve this small problem?

My xbox plays all other games BUT Mass Effect 3

Hey guys i dont know if this is some big glitch or problem world wide but... My xbox will NOT play a mass effect 3 disk. I've replaced it 3 times. My first disk was fine it played online. However, when i play the story line the second disk played for like
one night and the darn thing just quit on me. Now i replaced it two times it does not even want to play the FIRST disk anymore....Is this a problem with my xbox or is it a problem with all the disks I am encountering?

if u still got mass effect 2 disk, go to import mass effect 1 chart save,...what puzzles me is that i lost all my mass effect 1 saves files 3 years ago (broken xbox and formate the hard drive and sold it and got halo xbox) before mass effect 2 came out...so
i wanted to play mass effect 2, so i poked at import chart saves, and found i had mass effect 1save, so i imported it and found that it had the choices i had made. were the same. so i think mass effect 3 might find ur lost saves. and pop in mass effect 2
and try the import save if u lost ur mass effect saves

All you should need to do with Mass Effect 3 is put the first disc in the console and it will then download the full game from Microsoft. With backwards compatible games when you put the game disc in it will then downloads the emulated version of the game
to your console (but the disc is still required to allow you to play the game).

 

Your not the only one having problems with backward compatibility on using the disc. I was able to download it with no problem. The problem I'm having with it is it starts to search for downloadable content on a continuous loop of searching for downloadable
content. I think the backward compatibility download may have a bug or glitch in the software.

 

@Slayer2020T,

Have you installed all of the DLC you have associated with your game save? What could be happening is that your Mass Effect 3 save is searching for content that may not be installed on your Xbox One console yet. Check

Manage game for Mass Effect 3 to be sure everything you own is installed and report back.
