Problem with login via intel-based, arm-based is working fine

Hi, on our school I'm using Minecraft:EE for some of our lesson plans.

I'm facing the following issue:

When trying to login from student accounts, we are able to login on arm based devices (chromebooks, iPads, new MacBooks, most android phones/tables)

However we are not able to login form intel/x86-64 devices (tested on windows 10/11 devices, intel mac and android for intel).

When pressing the sign-in button, I first get the Microsoft sign-in window. The first difference is here.

The intel devices have a sign-in window with a minecraft background picture, the arm devices have the microsoft sign-in window with a blank background.

When submitting the email address here, the arm devices go to our own authentication portal, however the intel devices go to a blank page without doing anything.

I think there is some difference in how our own authentication portal is called from the different sign-in windows.
Any ideas on how to fix this, since it's blocking many of the kids from working from home as well.

Hi,

Minecraft Java is designed for X86-64 processors (Intel, Amd). Apple M1 is an ARM based processor so unless a version is developed to run native on Apple M1 silicon then it will have to be emulated via Rosetta 2.

I see that you have a Surface Pro X and attempted to set up remote play via your Surface device. Unfortunately, your Surface Pro X at the moment will not work with the Xbox App as it is not compatible with Arm processors. What is ARM? Windows ARM-based PCs FAQ The surface pro X uses an arm processor, so this device does not work, unlike an intel or AMD CPU that runs x86 applications/software. You can play via the Edge browser at xbox.com/play. If you wish to remote play on your Surface device, my suggestion is to return or exchange the device for a Surface Pro 7 or 8, which uses Intel-based CPUs and has more compatibility.

Unfortunately you can't.

The Snapdragon 7c Gen 2 from Qualcomm is a low powered ARM based processor, similar to the CPU's in Android Smart Phones. It's a basic processor meant for light productivity, not games. Roblox requires an X64 CPU from Intel or AMD. It's not compatible with this game. In fact, most games won't work with an ARM CPU in Windows 10 or Windows 11 for ARM.

You're running Windows on a PC with an ARM based processor, PC game pass requires a PC running an Intel or AMD processor and for most games, a dedicated graphics card. Your system has neither.

The ARM based systems are not supported. Emulation isn't an option, now or in the future.

Xcloud can be used on a PC, but it's only avaliable to Xbox Insiders at the moment.
