Problem with licence transfer

Hi, i recently updated my xbox one (29th july 8am London time) and ever since my update my downloaded games that are free and paid wont work and said 'please insert disc or buy at store' despite being free and digital. This has happened 3 times after 3 updates
and the only way to fix was to go on to friend's account to set my xbox as his home(again). The problem with this is that it has used up all my tries(you only have 3) so after the next update ill be unable too play those games and he'll have no gold(due to
agreement of me buying gold and some games and buying games). This renders most digital games unplayable. It also ruins the point of license transfers, what should i do? Could i atleast have my LT attempts back?

Transfer data question.

Hi, to transfer content licences associated with your console you must sign in to the console with the profile used to purchase the content. Once signed in go to Settings > account > billing options and select licence transfer following the on screen instructions to transfer the licences to the new console so other profiles can use the content. Content can not be transfered across profiles only across consoles - hope this helps

 

Transfer Licence Problem

I think I'm not the first one to ask but I couldn´t find any other posts on this topc. Sorry to ask again.

I pressed Licence Transfer on my OLD console by accident. Now It seems that I can`t do another transfer for the next 4 month. But I`d like to use my accout (and the games I purchased) on my NEW consol. So, who can I adress to, to solve that issue?

One I don't think you fully understand what's going on

You set your home console as his

He set his home console as yours am i correct

If so this is how it works

Only home console let's you play everything offline

You have to be connected to live on any other console including yours or you will have the said issue of not having your games

Well if your account is gold and on his console what does it have to do with him having gold or not

You share gold no matter what on home console which is his console

Also why do you have to login his account if the content is yours?

If you mean his content isn't working than that's a completely different thing

Free games with gold only works if he has gold either by home gold etc

Now those updates are usually a sign he is reassigning his home console you should probably talk to him

It's not recommended what you are doing it was meant for family's not sharing with the neighborhood

Ok so to your other problem

From the sounds of it

If he's roaming other then his console and setting other console as his you get an update to reflect that

The home console isn't a toy

He only has access to your content while in his console this includes gold

If he roams home gold and console doesn't travel with him

Same with his dlc he must use and be signed in online

To use his content anywhere else.

This doesn't apply games with gold as it requires a gold membership which he only has when on his console with your profile being on his gold

And you can call supports but it's not.garenteed they will reset
