Problem with launching COD: WW2 and Xbox One

Hi there, I’m contacting both WW2 and Xbox because I’m not sure who to go to. About when the most recent update came out, I was launching COD: WW2 on my Xbox One and my xbox shut off, while the controller remained on and disconnected from the xbox. I would
then try to turn the controller off and it would not unless I took the batteries out. Once I put them backed in, I turned it on to try to turn on the xbox, and it was still disconnected. The xbox would only turn on by pressing the on button. The problem is
not me having to get up and press a button; rather, the problem is that whenever I launch the game, my xbox crashes. This wasn’t occuring until the last update by COD:WW2. I’m not accusing, I’m rather bringing awareness just in case others may be reporting
any like situation. Many thanks.

If you have a Gold subscription that allows you to play multiplayer, try deleting your profile from the console and re-download it.

hello

yesterday i bought the new call of duty world at war 2 for xbox one , so i installed the game also istalled the upates launch the game

the campain and zombie mods functionate but the mode i wanna play the multiplayer but everytime i will start the i cant click an any taste on my controller only the y is functionating and so i come only to the social mode ... new insalled land chaned i
tried everything but nothing happend . Im very sad and angry cause i bought the game for 60 bucks and it doesnt work !!!!

Try performing a hard reset EXACTLY like this. Hold the power button on the console for 8 seconds or until the power shuts down completely. Unplug the power cord from the back of the console for 5 minutes. Plug the power cord back in and restart
the console.

Seems to me that your console had experienced some kind of problem or interruption while it was updating that game.

A power cycle as stated in the previous post is a great troubleshooting step for a controller that is not syncing.

If your console still crashes when you launch the game though, I would suggest trying the steps here on “My Xbox One game won’t start or freezes
during gameplay” to resolve that.

If that doesn't help, make sure you have all your sign in info for the accounts on your console and wifi, and try a soft reset where you keep your games and apps, as outlined in

Give those troubleshooting steps a try and let us know if that helps with the issue
