    Problem with installing the game


    Hello,

    I got Sunset Overdrive with the Games With Gold. When I downloaded it for the first time, the installation stopped at 94%. When I tried to restart installation, I directly got the message "The installation stopped". I was able to play the game.

    I decided to reset the installation. I completely deleted the game and restarted the download/install. It stopped once again at 94%, but this time, I can't play the game. When I launch it, it closes after 2 seconds.

    How could I fix this?

    Installing Game Problem

    Greetings, Brater. If you have a scratched disc, I would recommend doing as Mister Gwyther recommended and either resurfacing or replacing it. This should allow you to successfully play Modern Warfare 3 again. Thanks! Let us know if you have any further

    Did you do a reset on your xbox? Wich OS version? Are you insider?

    Problem with installing the game

    I have the same exact problem. Bounces back and forth between 93 and 94%. Have tried downloading it 3 or 4 times and it stalls at the same percentage. Like OP, if I try opening it it just closes after a couple seconds and makes the game tile say Installation
    Stopped after it closes to the dashboard. Been unable to download Sunset Overdrive for about a week now, but was able to download other things like Defense Grid 2 that was also free with gold.

    Apparently I can't edit my comment? But found this tip by Omnicide NZ at the bottom of this thread

    forums.xbox.com/.../2155359.aspx     which fixed the problem for me and let me download the game:

    "Okay guys my game works now what you have to do is uninstall the game and change your power settings to energy saving after that shutdown your xbox like full shutdown and leave it for a couple mins then launch it back up and go to the market place store
    page and press install from there not inside you games tab"

    I have xbox one. With the game ye resolt but the downloading no is very slow. and have many bugs the xbox store. I try a game and it's work better with the fps only after the last 3 gb xbox update i stay don't know what about the other games by the way
    the xbox stuff have to focus on the xbox one fps and the download speed

    Delete game from hard drive. Fully reset console. Install desired game. Works for me. I had that proble. With NHL 2016.
