I have a display problem on xbox one apparently the image is litter bigger than my TV, I tried to adjust it from my tv remote control but I cannot make the image smaller. My tv supports 720 and 1080 resolutions and the same i tried from xbox setting but
the image is about 2 or 3 inches bigger that the tv. If you anyone can help me that will be great. thanks

  3. XBOX ONE has audio but no image

    Hello,

I have the same problem, I can't see the xbox in my tv. I tried with others hdmi ports and wires, even I used another Tv, but not image.

Micrsoft told me that I have to send my new Xbox one to German to fix the problem. AMAZING. Tomorrow the courier pick the parcel up.

    So Windows 10

there's no link. just an image from the reveal showing all of the windows 10 devices and a TV with Kinect/Xbox One was on the image. the image had every device on it.

    Ghosting/Coronas on XB1X & Samsung 2019 QLED TV's

    I'm seeing bad ghosting/coronas/blur/duplicating images

    [...]

I've used my xbox one x with 3 tv's and this new qled is the only TV I have had any issues with (which makes me believe it is a problem with the TV and not the xbox, but Samsung are insisting that this issue is with xbox. ...
If 3 other TVs don't show ghosting/coronas/blur etc... then it is most definitely the Samsung TV responsible for the ghosting.

Ghosting/coronas can't happen on the graphics chip (unless it's a lightning effect, the programmer actually intended to render, and then it'll show on all TVs). So if it only happens on the Samsung, then only the Samsung has the problem with ghosting.

Usually ghosting coronas and the likes happen when an overzealous image enhancement tries to make a natural image from a normal TV or movie camera "sharper". However, these algorithms fail when used on computer generated images, and produce "ringing" around
sharp edges that appear as coronas.

Try if your Samsung has a "Game Mode" to turn off all image enhancements.

Overscan issue on Xbox Series X

    Thanks for the reply!

The magnifier unfortunately didn't solve the problem after trying it. If the Magnify function could be used to make the image smaller than it originally was, this would have been a delightfully easy workaround, but it can only be used to enlarge images, or return to the default size, but not to shrink.

To try and answer question 1, the issue is that when I am using my Xbox console, the image has the outer edges cut off, seemingly due to it not communicating properly with the TV itself.

On the Xbox, the image I am using to try and calibrate this is found can be found via Settings-->Genetal-->TV & display options-->Setup, Calibrate TV. After that, click forward a few times until "Aspect ratio & sharpness." There should be two rectangles, a large green one and a smaller blue one, inside the green one. The green one's edges are supposed to touch the borders of the TV screen. The blue one is fully visible, but its borders are nearly touching the edges of the TV's screen.

Unfortunately, when viewing similar calibration screens with my other devices, the referenced images aren't cut off. I've been trying to adjust the aspect ratio of the TV itself to see if that would fix it, as the calibration screen advises, but without a way to shrink the image the Xbox is sending to my TV, I can't seem to fix it.

To clarify the answer to question 2, it seems to be happening to all images coming from my Xbox specifically .
