    Problem with hard drive


    When I turn on the device, Xbox started clicking and not booting. The problem in the internal hard drive. Have the skills to review and repair devices. How can I change the hard drive to the new one ?

    Why didn't your brother just hold the power button til it turned off? By unplugging it he could have done some serious damage. The only data that would be lost and non-recoverable would be your game saves. Everything else can
    be re-downloaded off the XBL servers. Just recover your accounts, then go into your Download History and start the lengthy process (depending on how much content you had).

    Problem with Hard Drive?

    My brother was playing a game, and it froze. He unplugged it and it took a minute to get past the Xbox 360 logo that's shown when the system's turned on. Then we found out that our profiles were gone. We looked at the hard drive and while it said that
    27/250 gigabytes were available, it said that there was nothing on it once we selected the hard drive. Is there a way to recover the data? Should I send my 360 to Microsoft? Or should I format the hard drive?

    Hi,

    You MUST NOT attempt a self repair of your Xbox One console. The internal hard drive is not NOT meant to be replaced by the end user. If you attempt this, you will void the warranty on your console and Microsoft will not repair it, even if you offer to
    pay.

    If your games are not loading and your console is making 'clicking' noises, it needs to be sent to MS for a repair.

    Ownage is correct, thats the main reason you always see the warning telling you not to turn off the game when you see the saving icon. It's doesnt even have to be your fault either. I've been unlucky enough a few times to have a game freeze while saving
    manually or when triggering an autosave spot.

    Go to the console where you transfered the app's, games, profile's. download your xbox live profile to the console where the data was transfered. If your doing this right it will prompt you to enter ur microsoft email and password
