Problem with Halo 5 update

Hey guys,

I've gone through the forum but I haven't seen anyone post about this. I've seen one post on Reddit about it that was posted two months ago, but not much else.

Three nights ago I started downloading the recent 6gig Halo 5 update, I was out of town so I wasn't able to download it the day it came out. For the last two days the download completion has been over 100% downloaded. Currently the download is at 413% complete.

I haven't noticed this with any other game. Yesterday I bought Rise of the Tomb Raider and it installed an updated without a problem.

I got three notifications two that I got yesterday, one today, that the download stopped for whatever reason, but it's downloading as I type this, so those might have been just small errors that fixed themselves. Hard Resets do nothing. That and I checked
the system settings and it's saying there are no updates available, so my console should be up to date.

Also I apologize if this isn't the correct forum to post in, since the problem is just with Halo 5

Never had any issues until Halo 5 on the new dash. Will update the firmware to see if that fixes it.

 

I 100% have this SAME exact issue! Hard reset does nothing. I'm at 516% and climbing. Other downloads/updates work, only my halo 5! Please help.

800% ??? does that mean you have 8 copies on there ? Only thing I would try is deleted the game and all traces of it ... If your are installing it from a disc , I would unplug from the internet to reinstall the game then hook back up online (with a hard
reset after deleting the game)...

 

No, it is a digital download. It has always worked but they released an update about a week ago and it has just never completed. Even though other updates on games work perfectly fine. If I uninstall and re-stall would all my stats be deleted?

 

Well , supposed to be saved on the cloud , so if you delete stuff from your CONSOLE , it supposed to remain in the cloud , but nothing is for sure , so be warned ...but if its unplayable , I really don't know what you got to lose at this point ...so IN THEROY
, if you delete the game and the save data from the CONSOLE ONLY , you should be able to reacquire ...but don't hate me if you gotta start over...
