    Problem with Gold free play weekend


    Xbox One X Alpha-SA

    Reported on console.

    I downloaded both WWE2K Battlegrounds, and Kingdoms of Amalur to my external HDD. Played WWE, and deleted it. Amalur however, refuses to recognize that it's installed. I tried moving & copying it to internal, but get error 87e00008 every time.

    I tried installing to my internal drive, and now it says it's installed on both drives, but won't launch because it isn't installed. Full shutdown didn't help either.

    I've never had a problem like this. Really wanted to check it out.

    If you were playing this past weekend, there was a free gold weekend. Since that weekend is over, you would now need gold in order to play online.

    I think the problems may be due to the holidays coupled with FREE XBL GOLD Weekend! Of course this is inexcusable as they should be prepared for the demand.

    Most people have Gold already, they need to do the free XBL Gold weekends at some obscure time, not when Gold Subscribers have some time to play and ruin the experience for all.

    This past weekend was a free gold weekend. So you could play then without needing gold. But you do need gold to play online.

    This past weekend was a free gold weekend, meaning you could still play online if you were on a free/silver account. That weekend is over so now you have to purchase a new gold subscription in order to play online.
