    HI

    I have issue with moving my gamer-tag to another Microsoft account.

    2-3 months ago it was not possible as account was not 30 days on new console (I had the off-line account on different console - which is actually broken...).

    I had ".... is currently not possible. Please go to xbox.com/accountswap/"

    so I waited until middle of may - I freed my destination Microsoft account from gamertag, and then I got again issue.

    so we have 27 june.

    I contacted support - so everyone knows how it is...

    I got same issue as 2 months ago and 1 month ago...

    So support advised me to add dummy alias to my account.live.com and remove the one which I want to use on my Microsoft Account with Gamertag.

    Finally i deleted it and in result I lost my alias @msn.com - and it is not possible to recover it - so email/alias which I used from 1997 (17 years!) is gone.

    I still have my emails and contacts on outllook.com (they existing with my dummy alias) - but I can't receive any emails from my @msn.com account as hotmail/msn don't have this account.

    Then again support advised me to add dummy alias, remove dummy alias, make primary, secondary... ech - 4h in total on the chat.

    And coming back to my gamertag/ms account - now I have error code when try to move my gamertag

    Anyone can help me with that ?

    Should I wait again 30 days ?!

    then it will be in total 90 days!

    p.s.

    I have no issues to login to any of my Microsoft accounts.

    My destination account don't have XBL profile (I tried to download profile from the account - and XBOX prompts that Microsoft Account don't have XBL profile).

    My destination account is used on Windows Phone and 2 Windows 8.1 machines.

    On XBox One, is there anyway to move my gamertag to another microsoft account? It appears its only avail for XBox 360.

    I have done this suggestion (for the second time actually) my old adult account is now added to my new family account as a child account and i have set the time limits. i have done all this via my pc but the xbox is not stopping! do i need to do something
    via the xbox?

    Hi Defended,

    If the account is an adult account, it is unable to be set as a child account. This is why it is not working correctly. You would need to create a totally new account set as child. Reason for this is once a birthdate is put on Xbox.com, it cant be changed
    at all. You can change the one on Microsoft but it doesn't change the Xbox date.

    Your right everything remains with the gamertag its the microsoft account that needs to be changed i know its not difficult its your hierarchy that's the problem, but thank you. Away around it? since my son is playing on my microsoft account can i limit
    the time played on my own account.
