Problem with game dvr/upload

Been having some issues with game dvr/ upload. Seems sound does'nt always record with the video and sometimes it doesn't record at all. Does anyone else have this issue or know a possible fix. I've tried the hard reset (I think its called that lol) however
it only proved to be a temporary fix for the sound in my recorded videos.

"I cant upload my clips on Windows 10" then you say "There's a problem with your recording" Im really sick and annoyed of this bs. My privacy settings say I can upload game clips and I know for a fact Im not banned but it still doesnt let me upload them.

Anyway, you've done all the mandatory stuff like the hard reset etc etc... I would just check the cables for starters. Make sure nothing is loose. (Shouldn't affect sound recording etc...)

Is the sound completely dead? if you upload a clip and check it with a mobile device? or online? is the audio dead there as well ?

Try that.

I would also see if you can clear the cache/data on the Upload app. That has resolved many problems in other apps I've had problems with.

I've also just had the April update, and I get no sound on the upload videos I've recorded today. And everything is good on my end because I used the game DVR yesterday with no problems before the update so what gives?

 

I have the same issue. I get no sound with my recorded vids. Ever since the new update, I'm guessing that what caused it. Hope they fix this soon, it would really suck if the vids recorded are permanently soundless.

Sorry I haven't been able to check it, but try go to my apps and games and then property click (with the "start" button on the app, should be something there. Also you can try to remove the app and re install it ?

Had the same thing since the April update, before that it worked perfectly fine. Clips don't always appear in the 'my clips section' after the notification says that it's been recorded, sometimes the notification doesn't even pop up at all now. Had one instance
where I had no sound on one clip as well....thought this update was supposed to improve DVR *sigh*

 

Has anyone managed to find a fix for this yet? It's irritating recording with no sound

 

Ok I've had the same issue. At first mine weren't recording because I use a capture card on mine from time to time. They'd say they "recorded," but when I went to my clips they weren't there. I swapped the HDMI back to normal (no capture card connected)
and now I'm having the issue that Dirtdog, Silentrage, Hylander, and Lopsided are all having.

And for the record I did check on my Smartglass app to see if the sound worked there, nada. Does anyone have an explanation why this is happening?

 

I removed Upload Studio, renamed my XBOX and when I installed it again, it seems to be working.

 

Glad im not the only person with this issue. Ive found a quick fix to it I guess. When switching between aps and games I shut down the ones im not using anymore. When running many apps at once it effects the game dvr sound or wont record at all.

 

Also I tried to re install the upload app and it worked temporarily but the issues returned

 

This problem need more attention , I have this &^$# for days now
