Problem with february system update

Hi,

Since today I have a problem when updating my Xbox.

The February system update locks up at 50% and says "Something went wrong" and then I get the screen to try the update again, but it keeps stopping at 50%.

So I already tried a couple of things to try and fix it.

First I looked up the errorcodes online, but they are not recognized.

Then I tried resetting to factory defaults.

I tried the hold button 10 seconds to turn off, pull the plug for a minute or so and reboot.

Then I tried updating via USB stick with the OSU1 system files and this does install, but then I have to install the systemupdate again and it stops at 50%.

I tried doing the OSU2 first but this stops at 5% and gives an error message E101, I already found what this means.

So tried the OSU1 again but again, when the systemupdate has to install it stops at 50%.

I really don't know what else I can do... Does anybody have an idea how to fix my Xbox?

Hi,

In a situation like this, it would best to try reseting you console to factory defaults. When the Xbox enters the recovery screen, you should see the option at the bottom to perform a factory reset. When you do this, you should be prompt for the option to
keep your games & apps installed.

Also, I would advise that in the future, you post in the Xbox Preview forums so they proper teams can take a look: Xbox One Preview

Mine is doing the same thing but stopping at 22 percent. I'vetried everything it won't work.

 

absolutely the same situation on my end. However OSU1 kicks me out to error code straight away
