    Problem with ethernet cable and 1gb/s speed connection


    From 2 weeks when I test my speedtest connection on my xbox one X with nat open, I can' t run over 160 mb(s while before I run 650 mb/s. This cause me problem with xbox live games.

    Premise that my speedtest connect with pc is 970 mb/s down and 199 upload

    What are the causes?

    It's likely that your ISP is throttling speeds to Xbox Live. I experience the same issue with my internet as well. It's quite frustrating.
    but why my ISP have to throttling speeds to xbox live? before latest xbox upgrade was all ok...

    Just to claify. Does the reported speed state <value>mb/s or MB/s?

    MBs are megabytes and mbs are megabits. A big difference!

    Hello Stefano,

    As stated by others there are many factors as to why this could be happening. Another instance not mentioned is you could be connecting to a different server than before. Maybe it is further away, more traffic, and so on. Try running a test in the early
    morning then run one at supper time. They will be different due to traffic. With the speed you are getting are there any issues it is causing?
