Problem with Dolby Digital after dashboard update

Hello, after the premiere of the new Rise of the Tomb Raider my xbox asked me to do the dashboard update. I applied this update. I have Xbox 360 Slim 250GB and after this update I have problem with sound - before this update everything worked great. My console
is linked to TV by the HDMI cable (TV Sony HX750) and optical cable (Toslink) to my home theatre amplifier (Yamaha) - and on mode called "DTV/CBL" I have Dolby Digital from Xbox360, but there's missing a some sound from dashboard or games - this sound I have
on other mode of amplifier - "DVD", but there is no Dolby Digital and missing other sounds, so part of sounds is on DTV/CBL mode and part on DVD mode.

Xbox is connected with TV by hdmi

Xbox is connected by Toslink with amplifier to 2nd Optical IN (DTV/CBL)

TV is connected to amplifier by Toslink to 1st Optical IN (DVD)

Before this update everything worked great, now I have problem, I tried to disconnect a Toslink TV->amplifier but this won't help.

In xbox360 sound options after I change from "Dolby Digital 5.1" to "Stereo" everything works on DVD Mode, but I don't have Dolby Digital on amplifier...

What I should do - this is the problem of newest dashboard.

Scraping sound via toslink (fiberoptic) cable when playing DVD

It is set on Digital stereo. once i hit the dolby digital 5.1 button and the dolby digital with wma pro button it starts to scratch. even on dashboard.

my xbox one s is closing itself

Hello,

try to switch your Audio Settings--> DTS to Dolby Digital or something else (Dolby Atmos)

I have the same Problem, when i try to open a App, Youtube or Netflix the App close automatically

after few seconds. When I switch the audio settings it works, i think the error has something to do with the latest (Beta) preview update

I would suggest resetting your video settings on your console (I don't remember the key sequence during bootup, though it should be easy to find) and setting all settings again.

I've installed update and still no Dolby Digital 5.1 as promised. Only two options under optical are DTS Digital Surround and Dolby Digital (not Digital Surround as promised) - what gives?

Dolby Digital & Dolby DTS 5.1 & 7.1 hdmi & optical support are going to be added in the March 9th update. I'm previewing the new update right now on my XB1 and Im now running Dolby Digital & DTS through my receiver and Turtle Beaches

I got the November update with all the changes, night mode, Dolby vision gaming, etc.. BUT

The audio is literally broken.

SPEAKER AUDIO Defaults to STEREO UNCOMPRESSED prior it was on BITSTREAM OUT.

The speaker outputs are now HEADSET FORMAT, DOLBY DIGITAL, STEREO UNCOMPRESSED.

GONE BITSTREAM OUT.

If you set Dolby digital the audio is VERY LOW. Before the update the audio was fine, this is connected to a 5.1 Samsung soundbar system with no issues.

Also selecting AUDIO PASS-THROUGH does nothing.

Also doing RESET AUDIO SETTINGS does not fix the problem.

OS version.

10.0.22000.2989(xb_flt_211109-2200).

I had the same issue, but i think that i solved. I have an lg c9 tv, and a onkyo reciver and atmos sound bar. First, I connect the xbox sx to the tv, and after that the reciver with the tv, through the Arc hdmi, who was configured to pass through. After that, i uninstalled the dolby atmos and the dts apps. I installed the apps again, and turn off the console. I disconect all the cables, get conected again, and turn on the xbox sx. After that i set the console audio to dolby atmos, and it works like it use to! UPDATE: AFTER SOME TIME, THE SOUND PROBLEM WILL APPEAR AGAIN!!
