    Problem with disc reading

I have recently received a preview of the upcoming April system update for the Xbox One. When I finish playing a game and eject the disc, Xbox One pulls the disc back and shows a message telling me to change disc or clean it (the game does not load). I have
to turn off the console and unplug it if I want to play any game. Moderators, what should I do?

    :)

    Disc reading problem

All these disc 'repairs' do, is either:

    A. Fill in the scratches in the layer with plastic (Doesn't work very well)

    B. Sand off a small amount of the disc plastic surface, so the scratches aren't that deep.

Regular DVDs are thicker (even if it's micro millimeters), than newer Xbox 360 games. If you for example, take an Xbox 360 game from 2007, and then take one from today, you'll notice a significant weight and thickness difference. Disc repair methods normally
don't do anything to 'regular' thickness DVDs.

Unfortunately, because this is a 'newer' game, the middle of the disc (which is where the game ID and boot information is stored) probably got sanded or damaged. Your disc is probably useless if it doesn't work in any consoles.

    Reading disc problem

If you are doing nothing wrong, you won't get banned. It maybe the disk can't play because of the scratches. Do other games work OK??

    Problem with disc reading

Hey there. Please post anything Preview / Beta related in the seperated Section here:

    forums.xbox.com/.../default.aspx

As for your issue it´s reported several times in the Beta Forum. I guess they are Aware of it and investigating /working on a fix. I guess we only can stay tuned this time and Report any other Bug that may occure.

As this is a Beta those are the issues we have to deal with and give them some time to fix it. That´s part of the Programm to help sharpen the experience before Public Release.
