    Problem with Dark Soul free download


    Hi there,

    I purchesed a Xbox gold account for a single month in order to download Dark Soul for free, but when I try to get it it still cost 19euros.

    Otherwise the online gaming works well. Why the gold membership don't allow me to download DS for free too?

    Dark Souls Code not received

    I pre-ordered Dark Souls 3 with promotion for the free backwards compatible Dark Souls. Dark Souls 3 is great but have not received code to download Dark Souls.

    Thanks for any help you can provide.

    Dark Souls 1 Code not received from Dark Souls 3 Promotion

    Hi,

    I bought Dark Souls 3 from the xbox store back in March while the free Dark Souls 1 download promotion was going on. I never received the code. I chatted with some xbox support staff and they verified my license and said that I should make a post here
    and the promotions team would get me the code that I never received to download Dark Souls 1.

    Problem with Dark Soul free download

    It sounds like the Gold membership may not yet be reflected on your console.

    Could you perform a network connection test? That will sometimes reset the status so it updates. The results from the test are largely irrelevant.

    Then power off and on the console and look up Dark Souls again in the store.

    Dark Souls Not working

    You may have an error on one particular section of your hard drive, try this.

    Delete the dark souls game from your hard drive, then go to the marketplace and download any free game demo, then re-download the dark souls game.

    This will put the dark souls game on a different section of your drive, and may fix the issue.
