    Voice Messages On Xbox One Needs To Be Made Private

    Voice messages on Xbox One needs to be made private. Ages ago when I was sending voice messages, I could still hear the party chat. I wondered why. A few minutes ago while I'm in a party chat I could hear a friend of mine sending a voice message. Why
    are we hearing the party chats when we're sending voice messages and listening to them? Also why can everyone in a party chat hear what we're saying in a voice message? So much for things being private! We were not even warned about people in a party chat
    hearing what we're saying in a voice message. What if we're telling somebody something strictly private? Next thing, everyone in a party chat will know. This is a breech of privacy.

    Audio problem

    Hello...

    every time I try to join the voice group my friends hear only noise, I have no idea what's going on.

    I use discord there is everything right, in the game I can talk freely only in the voice group there is a problem, probably settings but I
    do not know how to deal with it

    Lost my old xbox account email and cant use my xbox account, i have the password but it wont sign in due to "Suspicous activity"

    I dont even care much about losing my games, i had a few friends that passed recently and just want to get back into my account to re listen to voice messages and stuff like that.

    In order to test if this is an account, network or hardware related problem, do the following:

    Open the messages tab in the Guide and compose a new message.

    Instead of typing, press the Microphone icon and talk into your headset. This should create a voice message that you can listen to afterwards before you send it off.

    You don't have to send the message, but are you able to listen to your own voice of that voice message?

    If you are not able to listen to it, check if the headset works on other controllers, or if different headsets (don't) work on the same controller.

    Also make sure that in the settings tab, that you have your headset and game volume set properly.

    Then while in party chat, check that you didn't accidentally muted the chat with the X button on the controller.

    No Geek, its considered the same. Voice messages and voice mail. When you listen to voice messages, The Xbox 360's Dashboard (UI/OS) brings up a small box titled Voice Mail and you listen to the voice messages. All Xbox 1 consoles have the same audio codec.
    Xbox 360 has VARIETY in ways you can send messages across Xbox Live. Xbox 1 only has ONE way to send voice messages across Xbox Live, and it's only via TXT. I'd consider going to the official Xbox feedback site. I voice message with MANY peps and friends across
    Xbox Live. IT BRINGS MORE LIFE TO A MESSAGE than just TXT.

    Suggestions to microsoft (next xbox etc.)

    Live is on the PC but it's not the same. I mean fully integrated. I can't even party chat or listen to voice messages on the PC

    Voice messages...

    I prefer a typed message because if I'm in a chat party with a friend as we play a game, listening to it is disruptive because I have to tell my friend to hold on a minute while I go listen to it, otherwise, I just ignore it which happens most the time.


    A typed message is nice because I can read it and it doesn't interfere with my current conversation.

    PET PEEVE: Some people will answer a simple yes or no question using a voice message.

    ANOTHER PET PEEVE: I'm playing a game, alone. I get a voice message. I decide to listen to it, so I have to get up, get my head set, plug it in and listen to my message which sometimes is a simple "Hey." : /
