Problem with contacting customer support agents online through chat.

So i seem to be stuck in some infintie loop of trying to talk to someone through microsoft chat, ill click supoort, talk to an agent, it will ask what the issue is, its regarding rewards, itll say go to microsoft support page, ill go to that page, and
it redirects me to the virtual agent again. This has not happened before and i dont understand why its so complicated to get ahold of anyone. am i doing something wrong here?? Is there like a direct email to support or something, its so frustrating. Thanks.

Thanks for reaching out to us in the forums for this issue. Sorry that you're having trouble getting to live chat with an agent online. Have you already attempted to clear the cache/cookies of your web browser, or tried a different one? Sadly, there is no
direct email for support, but you do have the option to request a call back from a live Xbox Support agent if you wish to as well.

When you go to Contact Usto request a callback, follow these steps:

Step 1 ----Select Xbox One
Step 2 ----Select See other options
Step 3 ----Select topic
Step 4 ----Select "Show contact options"
Step 5 ----Select request a call from support

You may need to switch up options/topics to get the option for a chat or call back. Once they call, explain the issue and they will be able to help you. If you prefer to speak to a virtual agent via this method, you may choose
to do so as well.

To add on to our great mod, I find that the call back option is usually a great option for getting support so follow those steps!

Hi, yes I know there are many laps and turns on where you have to go, however you should click here

help Select the one you are looking for then open a pattern and instead of clicking ' ' Ask a Question ' ' Click on other options.

Thanks for the suggestion. I did indeed contact support through chat and got the problem solved! What the agent had to do was essentially delete my old Gold subscription and gave me a new one.

(By the way, to anyone who reads this, if you happen to start a chat and get a support agent named Claire--she rocks! I wish all customer service interactions were as smooth.)
