    Problem with child account on Xbox One


    I have a child account on the Xbox One and even though it is set for my child to be able to talk to someone who is on their friends list, it doesnt seem to work as soon as a friend is added. Is there a waiting period for Live to know that the person is
    my childs friend? My child can chat and start parties with a previously added friend.

    Child Accounts not working with Minecraft Realms on XBOX ONE

    On my XBOX ONE it is not possible to Login in Minecraft Realms with Child-Accounts.

    Anyone the same Problem?

    Gold sharing on one Xbox problem with backward compatibilty

    hey guys,

    i have a problem: I have a child account(with xbox live gold) linked to my account (no xbox live gold).

    Now I want to play halo reach with my account on the home xbone of my child account. How do I do this. I have signed in both profiles to the console and still it says you cant play online because of no gold membership?

    Edit: even without family connection problem is still occurring. Tested two Xbox one games online. Both worked. Tested two Xbox one backward compatibilty games, message shows I have no gold.

    Also: playing backward compatibilty games online with the other (former child) account works perfectly fine

    Problem with child account on Xbox One

    Hi there, there is no waiting period and should be able to interact immediately, but it sounds like the other account (which I assume would also be a child account) has not had its default settings changed to be able to interact with others on Xbox Live.
    Is it only the one friend you're having issues with because you've stated it works with other friends?

    I would have thought that too but when my child gets into a party with the other person a warning comes up and says that there is an issue with privacy settings for my child account preventing communication. This error notice was issued before and after
    my child and their friend became xbox live friends with each other. At this time they both have each other on their friendslist. Thanks for any other ideas.

    Can't purchase free gold game. Your account is unable to make this type of purchase

    There seems to be no solution to this problem if a child account is the one with Xbox Live Gold and you don't have an Xbox 360.

    The parent account does not have the ability to get the Xbox Live Gold game for free.

    The child account gets the message "Your account is unable to make this type of purchase on Xbox.com".

    No problem!

    When you add a child account to Xbox One, you first use the email and password for the child account. Then all you need is the email (also considered a username or alias) and password to the account that's assigned as your friends parent. Then your done!
