    Problem with buying Xbox 360 games on Xbox One


    So I had recently purchased COD Black Ops 1 for the Xbox One and after enjoying the game I got the First Strike DLC Pack. However, after confirming to purchase I was given a message about how my purchase "couldn't be completed at this time, please try
    again later." The DLC did not show up in Black Ops 1 even though it was downloaded according to the app manager. What is more strange is that now this same message shows up for ALL Xbox 360 games and I cannot purchase any of them. I can't purchase them on
    the website or console and do not have an old Xbox 360 to whip out and use. Any help for these issues is greatly appreciated.

    Some of Xbox 360 Games are compatible with xbox one, but not purchasable

    the same account works for both Xbox One and Xbox 360 you shouldn't have any problem buying the game try to buy it from the xbox One and if you can't then try to buy it from the xbox website

    ^It has always been clear that the Xbox 360 games would not be playable on the Xbox One(to include arcade games) I am sorry that you missed this fact. But, I still play my 360 regularly as well as my Xbox One, I do not see a major problem here. Did you buy
    an Xbox One only to play your 360 games on? Or did you buy it to play Xbox One games?

    ...or keep your 360 and buy an Xbox One. Problem solved. If you have enough cash to buy 100 360 games, which at an extremely conservative number of $35 a game equals out to $3500, you have enough to buy a new system.

    The game is listed as backwards compatible, so I guess this is not the problem.

    In any case, what I'm trying to do is to buy an xbox 360 game from my browser: there's an option to do that on the page I posted above, and the Xbox One store also says I can buy it from xbox.com so it's supposed to work.

    The problem seems to be that it doesn't show any of my credit cards while it should show them.

    So: is there a way to fix that problem? Seeing the number of posts on the subject, it appears I'm not the only one trying to *buy* Xbox 360 games that are on sale right now for my Xbox One.
