    Problem with audio in output from the console


    This evening turning on the xbox, by connetting the headphones at the joypad, i feel the game audio but the audio chat there isn't, console report the message "no match microphone" but they work perfectly.

    What can i do??

    Audio output problem

    try component cables or a different HDMI cable if you have one. At least try the components that came with the console.

    The jackplug in the controller is for chat only. The stereo feed for a headset is taken from an audio adapter connected into the A/V socket on the back of the console, or from the audio output on the TV.
