    Problem with an update Error Code: 0x8B05000F 0x00000000 0x900D0007


    My Xbox One is having issues downloading a 417MB download, I'm pretty sure is for the preview program. It is not allowing me to continue to my dashboard. I have tried powering down, resetting my network, factory resetting my xbox. I have talked to xbox support
    and the preview program support.

    I keep getting the same error code: 0x8B05000F 0x00000000 0x900D0007

    I am at a loss for what do do. I am thinking, is it possible to remove myself from to preview program without my console and maybe bypassing that update?

    I am having the same issue with a 796M download; same error code. I contacted support yesterday and the rep I discussed this with didn't have that code on file. I did all of the troubleshooting steps they provided: Reset, Power Cycle, Manual Reset & I
    just did the offline update with the $SystemUpdate file on a flash drive. Nothing worked and everything routes back to this update that fails @ 79% of the verify update step. My XBOX has had no issues until yesterday afternoon when this update appeared and
    I know I went into the preview program for the first time late Friday night/Saturday morning. I see that mentioned and it makes me think it's the root of all this.

    * Update * I found another forum post with a fix, which I did, and it resolved the issue for me. Try downloading the XBOX Insider Hub App on a Windows10 PC. Within the app, go to Settings -> Manage Devices. Here you can remove your XBOX from the preview
    program. After I did that my reset continued without requiring the update that was causing all the issues and my XBOX is back up and working.

    I have had the same problem since Saturday on 2 Original Xbox One consoles. I contacted Xbox ox support on Saturday and spent all day with them trying to resolve the problem with no success. Reset console, unpluged power brick to clear cache, performed a
    manual update using the $SystemUpdate folder on a USB drive twice, but every time I reconnect the console to the network it attempts to a play the update and fails during the Verifying Update at the 78% mark. I'm at a loss and so seems the Xbox Support Team.

    I have been offline and relegated to just watching just TV through the consolere with no word or announcement from Microsoft.

  10. Please try this:



    1. Hold down the power button on the front of your Xbox One console until it fully powers down,unplug the power cord, and wait 30 seconds. Please note the console must be fully powered down; the next steps will not work if the console is powered on from connected
      standby.
    2. Plug the power cord back in.
    3. PRESS the POWER Button then Hold down the Bind button (located on the side of the console next to the USB port) and the Eject button (located on the front of the console next to the optical disc slot), continue holding down Bind and Eject until you hear
      a second “power up” chime.
    4. Then SELECT Reset this Xbox - This Troubleshooter takes the User to a page that allows them to select full reset or reset but keep content (this allows you to keep your installed games and settings!)
    5. Then you can try to install the latest updates.
    6. In case you still receive the error message of 0x8B05000F 0x00000000 0x90070007 it means that there is an issue with the HDD of your console and it needs to be repaired. (You can set your repair order on https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/devices)
