problem with achievements and account update!

Try waiting for a short period for the system to recognise your gamerscore. If the problem persists there may be an account problem or you could try unlocking another achievement so it updates again.

Would you mind to create an second account and then try to unlock the Achievement.

Is it works on that second Account, then there's proberly one or more corrupted files present on your Account.

But I'm not to sure.

I have never encountered a problem like this ever before, so this is either for me an oppertunity to learn .

Íf the achievement is not associated with Multiplayer, it's not nessacery to connect that second account to Xbox Live.

It's just a temprory account to see if you can unlock the Achievement on the temprory Account.

The achievements earned are attached to your account and will update after reconnecting to Xbox Live. Even without disconnecting from Xbox Live, achievements could "lag" on showing up but I rarely have that problem.

I hope Microsoft can solve your problem, it seems like there is something in your account that isn't working.

Could be the new achievement that are with the update, if it works with the update on your sons account with your xbox i can not think of anything else then that.
