Problem with account after redeeming code?

I've redeemed a code that I bought via Amazon, I've booted up my Xbox one after redeeming the code online and its prompting me to sign up to Xbox gold, in my settings however it's says I've paid and my account is Xbox gold. What do I do as can get the features
that come with Xbox live and I can't join online games.

do digital codes work worldwide?

If you have problems redeeming it on a UK account just set up a US gamertag redeem it on there and play on UK account.

IIRC Xbox one games were touted as being region free so you should be good to go either way :thumbsup:

You're showing as gold on the forums. When you log into
account.microsoft.com does the subscription show up on your account?

You could also try
deleting the account from the console and redownloading it.

My son wants to know that if he deletes his account from the console and redownloads it, will he still have all of his points etc.

As long as his account has been signed into Live, everything is saved on the servers. Just make sure he deletes his profile only. Otherwise he could lose his game saves and those can't be redownloaded.

I have the same problem. After the 30mb update the specializations disappeared. The code was redeemed on my account. The code worked fine. The only thing that happened was the 30mb update then they disappeared.

Kindly sign in to https://account.microsoft.com/billing/orders and validate if the code is redeemed from there. Once confirmed, go to your payment method via this link to check your Microsoft balance: https://account.microsoft.com/billing/payments

Once confirmed that it's there simply restart your device then try to use the balance again.
