Problem with a game.

Like the title says, I have a problem with a game. So before i start telling you about my problem I just wanted to tell you that I’m sorry if this is wrong section as I’m not used to write stuff like this.

The problem that I got is that I started to play The Darkness videogame on my Xbox One this week and yeasterday i got this problem after going after all the collectible phonenumbers and letters where in Fulton Station i talked to this old lady Charlene.
She is the one with the coin tossing wager. I’ve completed the game before and talked to her and completed her wager. However, yeasterday when I was going to complete her wager again for making sure I didn’t miss any phonenumbers and letters for the achievement
she walked from one place to another as usual. But she never tossed those 4 coins the last time and I have walked down on those traks and waited for the train to come and kill me. But nothing happends. I even tried to restart the game and it dosen’t work.
I started a new game after I noticed I missed one letter for the achievement. I also started a new game so that I could complete other missing achievements.

So my question is this: Do I have to unistall the game and then reinstall it for the glitch to dissapear? If so, will I lose my savefiles if I uninstall the game from my xbox one?
