Problem with 360 profile on Xbone after gamer tag change.

Hi,

I recently changed my Gamer Tag everything is fine with my Xbone profile. I had to remove my profile and download it again on the phisical 360 console which is now fine.

The problem I have now is my 360 profile on Xbone, everytime I load up a game I get the disconnected from xbox live message and then it signs me in under my old gamer tag. I can't find a way to manage my 360 profile on xbox one.

Can anyone help me?

can someone just confirm/clear up for me - can i roll over my gamer tag from xbox 360 onto the xbone and can i carry over my unused gold membership from my xbox 360 onto the xbone?

i assume that if i roll over my gold account onto the xbone then i can no longer go online on the 360?

 

There are two things you can try here to solve the problem.

1. Hold the power button on the console for 10 seconds until it shuts down then unplug it and let it sit for 5 minutes.

2. Delete then redownload the gamertag to see if that solves the issue.
