    Problem with 3.5mm to 2.5mm cable sold with adapter!


    Hello everyone!

    Thats pretty simple. I bought the adapter 6 mouths ago and now my 3.5mm to 2.5mm cable dont work anymore. I bought other similar adapters and no one works. I know that the problem is my cable cause I tested with my friends cable and worked like new.

    I cant find to buy this exactly cable and I dont know what to do. Any help?

    Hello,

    It looks like you do need a chat cable (2.5mm) as well as the Xbox One Stereo Adapter (which comes with the 3.5mm to 2.5mm cable).

    If you have the newest controller (3.5mm audio jack built in), then you'll need a 2.5mm cable as well as a 3.5mm to 2.5mm cable to plug it into your ASTRO A50s.

    I have the polk melee headset was supposed to get free upgrade to xbox one but didn't so i bought the adapter but now also need a 3.5mm cable as the one that came with has it's own mic which overrides the headset. will any 3.5mm work or do i need a

    The headset came with a 2.5mm to 3.5mm adapter. Does your headset not have the 2.5mm cable to connect to the controller from the old 360?

    Xbox 360 Mic adapter only works on Wired not Wireless?

    The microphone is connected using a 3.5mm cable to the controller with an adapter (3.5mm to 2.5mm).

    It only works on the wired controller but not the wireless controller?

    HELP! - Xbox One Headset Adapter

    Getting similar issues with GameCom 777 series. Two 3.5mm jacks connected to a splitter then connected the headset adapter. The splitter is a OMTP - CTIA. Game and chat audio worked fine but my friends couldn't hear my voice. I found out that we have to
    use the 3.5mm - 2.5mm cable supplied with the headset adapter. I've now ordered a 2.5mm male - 3.5mm female adapter. Going to give that a try, hopefully it works. I will end up with a lot of cable/adapters but oh well.

    Has anyone found another possible solution?
