    Problem w/ family game sharing


    I just recently got an Xbox One and I never had much games so my brother decided to do game sharing with me. We set it up and I started playing but whenever I was playing a game and he signed in, it would kick me out of the game I was playing and ask me
    if I own the game and I'd have to kick him off of his account to get back in. Does this happen to anyone else and is there a way to fix it ?

    Family sharing was a joke. What good is it if you can't play the game at the same time. Family sharing = 1 console playing at a time. Not buy 1 game and have all 4 consoles in you house playing together. Are you going to wait 2 weeks for cousin Jim to beat
    Halo5 so he can share it with you? Not me I want to play it ONLINE on the day of LAUNCH with my FAMILY. Not possible w/ family sharing. People are so uneducated.

    Please explain how family sharing is different than loaning a disc

    That's my point. Family sharing was an improved form of what already exists. The same 1 person can play a game I own w/o us having to physically come in contact.

    Agreed. A lot of people misunderstood family sharing. I'm glad it's gone TBH. If it were to be released, people would be b*tching because you can't play the same game at the same time, just saved a whole bunch of complainers.

    Yes, game share was the issue. We all have different logins in the same family group so that's not a problem.

    I just wish game share worked per IP and wasn't limited to 2. Gaming families that play together shouldn't be punished.
