Problem using XBox One S (controller) with "Need for Speed" started via Steam on Origin

There is no Bluetooth radio component in the Xbox One S console itself.

The controllers connect to the Xbox One S the same way the controllers connect to the original Xbox One: proprietary RF. You could technically connect an Xbox One S controller to an original Xbox One, and an original Xbox controller to the Xbox One S.

The Bluetooth functionality in the new Xbox One S controller is specifically made for connecting the controller to a Windows 10 PC with the "Anniversary" update, which has the drivers needed for the controller when connected via Bluetooth.

You can use a regular Xbox One controller on an Xbox One S console, and you can use an Xbox One S controller on a regular Xbox One console.

All controllers connect to the Xbox console the same way, via proprietary RF.

If you are confused because of the addition of Bluetooth in the Xbox One S, just know that Bluetooth is only built into the Xbox One S controller (there is actually no bluetooth functionality in the Xbox One S console itself). The Bluetooth in the controller
is just a secondary method of wireless connectivity designed solely for connecting the controller to a Windows 10 PC via Bluetooth (without the need of a
USB adapter). It connects to the Xbox One/One S the same way as the original controllers do.

However, I did buy Battlefront 2 (EA one) and it's installed on steam but shows up on origin as unpurchased.

It says 'Steam' under the Battlefield 4 game picture on your Origin App. This means to install the game, you need to use the Steam app. When the game runs it will launch the Origin App automatically. This is the way all EA games purchased via Steam will look on your Origin app.

It's like my Ubisoft app. Games that I have bought directly via Ubisoft and are either installed or not currently installed, will show here, but Ubisoft games that I purchased via Steam do not show on this app, unless they are installed via Steam first.

Do you have an original Xbox One, or a Xbox One S/X? If you have the original Xbox One (not the S or X) you will need to have Kinect in order to have the Xbox control your A/V equipment.

If you do have Kinect and/or a Xbox One S/X, make sure that the IR Blaster on the Kinect and the console aren't obstructed, and that the IR light can hit your equipment. If you have a home theater with dark walls, it might be that the IR signal can't be
reflected off the walls towards the A/V equipment.

And finally: The TV needs to be able to be controlled via Infrared remote controls. If you have a very modern TV with a Bluetooth remote, the Xbox can't control that. It has to be Infrared controlled.

did not work for me. was happy to see the toggle set to "on"

but download speeds are still 2,2MB/S -> 1,1MB/S ->500KB/S -> 0 B/S -> 2,2MB/S and so on instead of 12MB/S which is full speed with my 100k cable connection. steam, uplay, hell even origin are able to deliver enough bandwith for full speed downloads but
MS on PC and xbox and sony on PS, man they didn't do their freaggin' homework at all.
