Problem turning Xbox One "off"

Good day, my jolly forum goers! I write to you because recently my Xbox One has not been preforming as usual.

As we all know, turning off the X1 usually results in keeping part of itself on so it can boot up quickly next time. This can be turned off IIRC, but I prefer to keep this setting on.

However, over the past few days my X1 keeps itself more than "a little on" when I turn it off. And it doesn't matter how I turn it off. Voice Command, Button or Controller, all the same. Prior to this, turning it off resulted in everything appearing off.
It would make a small amount of noise (barley noticeable) and sometimes I would hear it running in the middle of the night, only to stop after a bit. And aside from the system itself booting up very quickly, everything was reset like it should be.

Now days, when I turn it "off" I still hear the power brick running full blast, my games and apps don't reset (had the console off for 2 days and turned it on and booted up Titanfall to see not the Respawn logo, but a message that I was disconnected for
Inactivity...wat) and most of the time, my controller doesn't even turn off when I switch off the console.

Like I said, I'm pretty sure this can be switched off to "hardboot" everytime, but I don't want that. I just want it to run like it used to. Any help would be great!

Font Xbox One

I would like to know if microsoft sells the source of xbox one, I bought xbox online and the font is giving problem, the console is turning itself off and sometimes does not turn on. Can you answer me if you have one? Or is there somewhere I can buy an ORIGINAL?

Mine did the same thing and it drove me nuts and so I ended up unplugging it. It never seemed to fully turn off.

I think you can just hold down the power button and it completely shuts down. I didn't know it at the time which is why I just unplugged.

But that may not help you either. Are you downloading something. I think it stays on and will update things which is why it makes all that noise because it is busy. Maybe if everything completes downloading it will cut down the noise?

i've kinda been having the opposite problem, i have mine set to that when i turn it off, its off. but the last couple of days when ive turned it on, fifa is in the place where i left it, but crashed so i cant play it. i have to unplug it to getit to restart
the game

I turned off completely my xbox one, and the problem was gone, before that I turned off the energy saving mode and turned on again

For anyone having a similar problem since the update, I was able to solve the problem by turning the Xbox One off hard and then I turned my modem/router off and on.

Thank you for taking the time to post this on the Xbox Forums. We understand that you are currently experiencing difficulties with your console not performing in optimized state.

Actually, in reference to your console, you would be unable to set-up a repair as the Service Center

will not cover any damage by any external cause [including, for example, by being dropped, used with inadequate ventilation, etc., or failure to follow instructions in the instruction manual for the
Xbox One or Accessory].

I would recommend performing a soft
factory reset on your console, as this should refresh the operating system to allow it to enchance its performance.

This can be done by following these simple step:

Press the Xbox button to open the guide.
Select System > Settings
> System > Console info.
Select Reset console.
On the Reset your console? screen, you'll see three options:
- Reset and remove everything. This option resets the console to factory settings. All user data, including accounts, saved games, settings, home Xbox associations, and all games and apps will be deleted. Use this
  option when selling or gifting the console, or as a last resort in some troubleshooting cases.
- Reset and keep my games & apps. Use this option as your primary choice when troubleshooting. It will reset the OS and delete all potentially corrupted data without deleting your games or apps. In some cases,
  if a corrupt game file is causing the issue you're troubleshooting, you may have to choose
  Reset and remove everything, but you should always start with
  Reset and keep my games & apps.
- Cancel. To back out of this screen, simply select the
  Cancel button. No action has been taken at this point. This is a safe exit from this screen.

After you select one of the options, your Xbox One console will begin the process of erasing the selected content and resetting itself to the default settings.

We strongly recommend using the option that reads Reset and keep my games & apps as this will save you time to get back to gaming.
