Problem Signing In with a profile

Hi there,

I've just tried to go back online on my 360 console with my main account but have been unable to do so, with the system saying that the particular profile can't be used on that console and would need to be downloaded again (it has always been used on this
console). I have been using this account offline for quite some time now, and so have stacked up a lot of achievements and game progress since last going online with it. Not long ago I changed some details, including gamer tag, on the Windows 10 Xbox app,
but due to this profile not having registered my further progress while playing offline, it is considerably behind my current offline status.

I was hoping to update my profile and in doing so all of my recent offline progress, but if I were to have to download the profile again then I assume it will put across the most current one to go online, which is not representative of my current profile.
Is there any way to fix this while retaining everything from the currently offline status profile?

Xbox Network setting tests say "Everything is Good" but I cannot connect to Xbox Live or use any Store, Internet or Game services. Xbox gives no indication it is connected to internet other than the fact the Network Settings tests say it works.

UPDATE: Thanks Jaerowinaus! Your second suggestion, coupled with signing out of my profile, worked!

So for any people with this problem in the future: Forgetting network, singing out of our profile, powercycling the console, and signing back in will fix this issue

I had the same problem. As DavyPlayz suggested, signing out of my profile and signing back in solved the problem.

I'm afraid that when a profile wants to be downloaded, it will need to be downloaded before connecting to Xbox Live, which will most likely result in loosing all offline progress that wasn't synchronized.

I'm dealing with a simular issue with my Xbox One. It started with not signing in. I was prompted to enter my password. It started that, "To use *** Die E-Mail-Adresse wurde aus Datenschutzgründen entfernt. ***, you'll need to enter your Microsoft account password." I entered it. It then tells me, "*** Die E-Mail-Adresse wurde aus Datenschutzgründen entfernt. ***
is here already", "Another user on this device uses this Microsoft account, so you can't add it here." It's a catch 22, when I'm told to enter my password, to my profile, on my Xbox, and it tells me I can't because it's mine. WTF, LOL!!!

Any information would be greatly appreciated.

OK so hopefully this is the right place to post. I have several profiles on my xbox 360. Now we don't frequently use the console compared to many so not sure how the following happened.

I play LA Noire under my wife's user profile as we started the game together but I have carried on solo. Not normally a problem, however the most recent time we tried to log in against her profile we were prompted for her account username and password which
is tied to email address, my wife only uses one of three email addresses, however when trying all of these it says none of them are linked to the user profile on the console, but it must be!!!!

Anyway came onto this site and tried all 3 emails and none had the gamer tag associated as used on the console, this now means I can't access the save data, having scoured this forum and other sources it appears there is no way of moving game saves, however
is there anyway Microsoft can recover log in details for me or my wife by providing the gamer tag only so that I can access this profile once again?
