Problem saving games offline.

I'm having issues saving games while playing offline. I'm always online when at home but recently the misses house does not have internet. When I go over and play the Witcher 3 or Fallout 4 I'll play for a while but when I save and make a new save even though
it goes through with no issue or error message it won't actually save. I'll save then after go onto my loads and it wouldn't be there. I would then use my phones 4G hotspot for my console to connect to and try saving and straight away it would register the
save. This also deactivates the auto save it seems. Is this just something xbox ones do or is something actually wrong?

RYSE...problem saving game

Every time I launch the game it's as if I just installed it for the first time. I have to adjust the screen settings and the only option is to start a new campaign, regardless of where I left off the previous time.

I tried installing the game (fresh) without network connectivity and started a new game. Doing so allows me to continue from where I left off. However, as soon as I plug the network cable back in, the game requires me to download the updates. Then the
same syncing message starts popping up while playing and game save data is lost.!

Please help!

When you save a game while online some games dont like to stay saved offline meaning it is a problem GTA does it alot.

The saves in outer world’s appear to be linked to microsoft cloud saves and
it wont recognize local saves offline. This is not a issue with our computers or our software, it is a widely recognized problem for anyone on PC trying to play the game offline. There likely needs to be an update or hotfix for
this specific game.

the problem is i alrweady have an offline profile if i do that i lose saved game data and achievements

I had this problem as well.

Support, Xbox com, and Google had no answers for 202.

What worked for me was doing an offline reset and then also doing a reset - save games and apps from settings.

The offline reset got my orig xbox one to boot, but it still had issues.

The reset - save games and apps from settings after the offline reset got it to work again.

Another tip - after the offline reset, do a save/ backup to disk and you wont have to set up your wifi a second time.

Hi, thanks for the reply.

I deleted the local save files and it synched with the cloud saves without problems. So the local saves are the same as the cloud saves.

If I switch the console to offline the game loads every save fine. I can even switch the console back to online after I got the game running and every save loads fine.

It's only a problem with launching the game.

If I delete every DLC the game launches without problems and every save works fine too.
