    Problem registering a device..


    Greetings,

    Sorry if this is in the wrong place but there was no obvious section to put it in, as the forum menu does not have a my account section...

    Tried to register my xbox one console via the 'register a device' in the my account options.

    When I complete the form by adding the serial number I am presented with this;

    And what is strange as the page has obviously changed, I entered a serial number, and so I am unable to add the device...



    Any Ideas? As I have 2 devices to add...

    Xbox Live and hotel Wi-Fi via Ethernet?

    Usually there is an option for you on the hotel web site to register a Legacy device with your mac address on your console. If you know the mac address on the console you should be able to just register the device on their network

    Hey there aishadaisies! You may not need to get in contact with phone support just yet. Could you please describe in a little more detail exactly what's happening when you try to connect? Any error codes or anything like that?

    I am getting the EXACT same error when trying to register through xbox.com on my computer. The old xbox is still registered and showing up on the account, but when I attempt to register the new one; I get the aforementioned error.

    Sand problem for months. Didn't recognize any of our family members. My lucidity ain't seeing show the device as refused and when I try to free register it I an told that device is already registered. But under my devices it says no registered devices. Maddening!

    also, it says my PC is linked, but when I look at the registered devices, it says there are 0 registered devices. Maybe this is the problem. It is an older dell, but meets all the reqs.
